Orange Lab offers extended weekend hours

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that we have extended our hours of operation at the newly remodeled laboratory facility in Pavilion III in Orange.

Orange lab, new hours:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon

UC Irvine Health labs provide high-quality service and fast turnaround times—from routine tests, such as urine and blood testing, to specialized molecular diagnostics. For the convenience of our patients, we offer laboratory services in Orange, Irvine, Long Beach and at our new location in Newport. Download a map of our lab locations and hours of operation.

As you know, the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is increasing efforts to capture lost revenue through the Bring it Home initiative. The recently extended hours at the Orange lab in Pavilion III and a new location in Newport will allow us to better serve our current patients and colleagues, and bring back pathology and laboratory testing currently referred to outside labs.

We will soon send an invitation to an open house for faculty and staff to visit our renovated facilities in Orange and meet and greet our pathology & lab staff. In the meantime, if you have feedback or input about obstacles that hinder internal referrals, please contact:
